BJJ was created as a way for people to defend themselves against larger and stronger opponents. It teaches you to overcome an opponent or assailant by implementing proper use of technique and leverage while thinking 1, 2, 3 steps ahead of them. With Coach Madison Jones’ instruction you will learn how to control and submit your opponent while building the confidence and other skills needed to overcome a harmful situation. Fear is a reaction, courage is a decision.
Health and Fitness – BJJ
Not only is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu great for self-defense, but it is an excellent activity to improve your health, burn fat and tone your body, while having fun and not even realizing you’re working out. You will see improvements in the first few weeks to your weight, strength, stamina and balance just while practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on a regular basis, no additional training needed!
